Update 1/31:
"Monday, three hours after
arriving we met with an artisan group that makes the wheat straw cards and
ornaments. What amazing women. We just returned form the countryside today
where we went to five different villages, meeting five different artisan
groups that make the jute plant hangers, hammocks, etc. We were showered
with flowers, songs, Bengali food and such appreciation. We are the ones who
are appreciative. Such kind, generous and beautiful people. Hard to
believe we have only been here a day and a half!"
